This morning, you can choose from two optional half-day activities:<\/p>\n

Option 1 \u2013 Electric snow biking<\/strong><\/p>\n

Explore the Ounasvaara hill on an electric bike equipped with wide tires specially designed for snow. Glide gently through the snowy forests and then take a break at the top to admire the breathtaking view over the Rovaniemi region.<\/p>\n

Option 2 \u2013 Horseback riding<\/strong><\/p>\n

Saddle up and enjoy a leisurely horseback ride along a frozen lake and deep into the quiet forest. The only sound breaking the silence is the soft crunch of snow under the hooves. A magical moment of connection with nature.<\/p>\n

If you have booked both activities, they will be scheduled at different times in your program.<\/em><\/p>\n

Free afternoon<\/strong><\/p>\n

The afternoon is all yours.
Wander around the cozy Rovaniemi, visit a museum, stroll along the river, or take some time to relax.<\/p>\n

And... don\u2019t forget to eat well\u2014you\u2019ll need that energy tonight!<\/p>\n

Evening under the Northern Lights (included)<\/strong><\/p>\n

As darkness falls, your guide will pick you up for a Northern Lights expedition. The exact departure time depends on the weather conditions.<\/p>\n

You\u2019ll head to a remote location, far away from all light pollution. A campfire will be lit there. While sausages and marshmallows roast over the flames, your guide will share stories about the legends of the Northern Lights and how to recognize them yourself.<\/p>\n

And then hopefully... suddenly, like a whisper from the universe\u2014there they are.
Dancing veils of green and purple enchanting the sky.<\/p>\n

A moment you will carry with you forever. In your memory. And in your heart.<\/p>\n

  After a night illuminated by the northern lights, you enjoy a free morning to rest and recover.<\/p>\n

  The day's activities start later, giving you time to catch your breath... before diving into the traditional S\u00e1mi world.<\/p>\n

  Afternoon Meeting with Reindeer<\/strong><\/p>\n

  Around noon, your guide will pick you up to take you to the reindeer farm, an emblematic place of local culture.<\/p>\n

  Once there, you'll meet the local guides and your assigned reindeer, each with its own name.<\/p>\n

  Get settled into the sled for a serene ride of about 1 km through the snowy nature.<\/p>\n

  Back at the farm, you'll be welcomed into a warm kota where you'll taste a warm berry juice. The guides will share insights about their daily lives, the bond they have with their animals, and the ancestral traditions surrounding reindeer herding.<\/p>\n

  An authentic and warm immersion into S\u00e1mi culture.<\/p>\n

  Evening: Ice Dipping and Sauna Experience: The Finnish Ritual<\/strong><\/p>\n

  In the evening, your guide will take you for a typical Nordic wellness experience.<\/p>\n

    Today features an absolute classic on the agenda: snowshoeing. This activity is included in your basic package \u2014 so put on your warm clothes and head into the forest!<\/p>\n

    Depending on the group's pace, you'll walk between 4 and 8 kilometers, alongside frozen rivers, over tranquil lakes, and to stunning viewpoints.<\/p>\n

    Along the way, your guide will share the secrets of the Lapland nature \u2014 from animals that adapt to the cold to trees that have stood for centuries. And of course, there will be a break with warm berry juice as a reward.<\/p>\n

    Back at your accommodation, you'll have time to have lunch, relax... or warm up in your private sauna, if you have one.<\/p>\n

    Afternoon visit to the ice hotel<\/strong><\/p>\n

    At the end of the day, you\u2019ll experience something special, almost like a fairy tale: a visit to the ice hotel.<\/p>\n

    Completely sculpted from snow and ice, this unique place reveals its rooms, bar, and restaurant \u2014 each adorned with ephemeral artworks of impressive finesse.<\/p>\n

    Your guide will first give you some explanations, and then you'll have time to explore this frozen masterpiece on your own.<\/p>\n

    And of course, you\u2019ll wrap up the visit with an ice-cold drink at the ice bar\u2026 or maybe even kick off your night there, for those who choose to stay overnight!<\/p>\n

                    Is traveling with children possible?<\/strong><\/p>\n

                    Children are welcome, but keep in mind there are age restrictions for certain activities. Children under 4 years old<\/strong> cannot participate in some activities, and for others, there is a minimum age of 12 years<\/strong>. This means that sometimes an adult may have to stay behind.<\/p>\n

                    Additionally, it's important to realize that young children may not be able to express if they're too cold. That's why we recommend this trip for children from 6 years old<\/strong>, when they can participate more actively and communicate their needs better.<\/p>\n
