How do I get to Lapland?

All our direct flights (to and from) to Lapland are provided by partners Brussels Airlines from Zaventem and Transavia from Schiphol. These flights also include a smooth transfer to and from Kittilä airport to your accommodation.

Can I bring ski/snowboard gear?

Absolutely! You can do this when booking for €50 per person. In that case, you can either bring 1 pair of skis, ski poles, ski boots, and a helmet, or a snowboard, snow boots, and a helmet.

What important documents should I bring?

To board, you only need your national ID card and the flight tickets, which you will receive from us 14 days before departure. Make sure that the details you enter during booking match the information on your ID card.

How long does a flight to Lapland take?

The flight time depends on your departure point. Generally, a direct flight from European cities to Lapland takes about 2 to 4 hours.

Which name should I provide?

The name you provide must be the official name as it appears on your passport. So no nicknames.

My name is misspelled on the tickets, what should I do now?

Send us an email right away at info@laplandtravel.com with the correct passport name. We will then change this name, possibly with an additional fee (if e-tickets have already been confirmed, this will apply).

Is hand luggage and checked baggage included?

Yes, both flights (Brussels & Amsterdam) include hand luggage and checked baggage. Here's a quick overview:

Amsterdam

Hand luggage: 10kg, max. 40 x 30 x 20 cm
Note: this hand luggage must fit under your seat.
Checked baggage: 20kg, max. 158 cm length + width + height

Brussels
Hand luggage: 8kg, 55 cm x 40 cm x 23 cm
Checked baggage: 23kg, max. 158 cm length + width + height.

Want to bring extra baggage? That's possible for 64 euros per person.

Can I book a trip with you without the flights?

Yes, you can definitely book a trip to Lapland without booking the flights through us. Just make sure your outbound and return flights are from Sunday to Sunday, so you don’t miss anything.
