Depending on where you're flying from, whether it's London or Manchester, you'll fly directly to Lapland.

At the airport, once you've picked up your luggage, you'll be greeted by our guides. You can easily spot them by a sign that says “Lapland Travel” or by their jackets with our logo. They'll then take you to the shuttle bus that will bring you to your destination.

Once the entire group is complete, you’ll head off towards Luosto. The guide will introduce themselves, and you can start asking your first questions. Before heading to your destination, you'll stop by our local partner to pick up your thermal clothing (if you booked this option), which is essential to stay comfortable in the Arctic climate.

Then the shuttle will take you to your cozy Finnish accommodation. From that moment on, it’s time to settle in, relax, and recharge… so you’re fully ready to experience the enchanting atmosphere of Lapland the next day.

Morning:

After your first night in Lapland, the day starts off slowly. The morning is free to explore the surroundings, take a walk, or just relax.

Afternoon: Introduction to Snowmobiling (included)

This afternoon, your first adventure awaits: a snowmobile ride of about 20 km.

Your guide will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to our local partner, where you'll get a helmet and a brief explanation of the safety rules and how to operate the snowmobile.

You’ll share a snowmobile with 2 persons and head out for a journey of about 2 hours through the winter landscape. Halfway through, if you want, you can switch places between driver and passenger.

Evening:

In the evening, you’ll enjoy a delicious meal at your accommodation. After that, you can experience a typical Finnish tradition: the sauna. There’s nothing better than warming up your body slowly after a day outdoors. Your body and mind will thank you.

Morning:

This morning features a classic: a snowshoe hike, included in the basic package. It's time to explore the snowy forest!

Depending on the group's skill level, you'll cover 4 to 8 km, passing frozen rivers, tranquil lakes, and beautiful viewpoints.

Your guide will share insights about the Lapland nature along the way, from animals to ancient trees. Of course, there will also be a cozy break with warm berry juice.

Afternoon:

Set off through the frozen forests and marshes of Luosto on an electric bike with wide tires, specially designed for snow. Make sure to eat well, as you'll burn energy quickly in the cold!

Halfway through, you'll stop at a cozy café hidden in the woods for a warm break in this winter landscape.

The entire journey will be guided by enthusiastic local guides who will share their favorite spots and stories about the region with you.

This activity is suitable for everyone, regardless of experience.

Evening:

Once back at your accommodation, you'll have all the time to relax. Cook something delicious, snuggle up on the couch, or treat yourself to a soothing moment in the sauna. You deserve it!

Morning:

In the morning, you can visit the unique Amethyst Mine of Lampivaara, located at the top of a hill in the national park.

Take the snow train 'Amethyst Pendolino' through the white landscape up to the mine, where you'll learn all about the history and mystique of this purple gemstone during a guided tour.

After that, you get to dig for your own lucky stone – a special souvenir from the heart of Lapland.

Afternoon:

Around noon, your guide will pick you up for a visit to the reindeer farm, an important part of the local culture.

You’ll meet the local guides and the reindeer, each with their own name. Then, you'll embark on an unforgettable 4 km sled ride through the snowy landscape.

Back at the farm, you’ll feed the reindeer, see the rest of the herd, and listen to stories about these remarkable animals and the ancient traditions of reindeer herding while sipping warm berry juice.

Evening under the Northern Lights (included)

As evening falls, your guide will take you on a Northern Lights hunt. The exact departure time depends on the weather conditions.

You’ll drive and walk together to a remote spot, far away from light pollution. There, a campfire will be lit, and as the sky fills with anticipation, you can enjoy grilled sausages and marshmallows.

Your guide will share stories and legends about the Northern Lights and give tips on how to spot them during your stay.

And then... they suddenly appear: green curtains dancing in the sky. A magical moment you won’t forget anytime soon.

Morning:

After a night filled with northern lights, you'll have some time to relax. The morning is free for you to rest and recharge for a new day full of adventures.

Take your time exploring the village of Luosto, wander through the shops, take a stroll in nature, or enjoy a relaxing sauna moment at your accommodation.

Afternoon:

After lunch and some rest, it's time for one of the highlights of your trip: a 10 km dog sledding adventure.

Your guide will take you to the husky farm, where you'll meet the enthusiastic dogs. After a brief explanation on how to steer and brake, you'll head out in pairs on a sled for about an hour through the snowy forest. You can switch places halfway through.

After the ride, there's time to cuddle with the dogs, take photos, and chat with the musher (guide). The entire activity, including transfers, lasts about three hours. It's a unique experience you won't soon forget.

Evening:

After all the impressions from the past days, you can just relax in your accommodation tonight. Enjoy a quiet evening, perhaps with a homemade meal and a warm sauna.

Morning:

Your guide will pick you up in the morning for an unforgettable experience: ice fishing, a true Sámi tradition. But first, you'll set out on a snowmobile – two people per vehicle – for a 45-minute ride through a fairytale winter landscape.

The journey takes you to a frozen lake, where you'll learn how to make a hole in the ice and use your fishing rod like a real Arctic fisherman. Occasionally, you'll warm up by the fire on the shore, enjoying a cup of warm berry juice and local cookies. After this special break in nature, you'll ride back on the snowmobile. The whole activity lasts about 3.5 to 4 hours.

Afternoon:

Feeling like some extra action during your free time? Then an afternoon of skiing or snowboarding in Luosto is a great idea. This charming, small-scale ski area is perfect for both beginners and advanced skiers.

Enjoy gentle slopes, wide pistes, and breathtaking views over the snowy national park. Everything you need for a relaxing yet sporty afternoon in the fresh air is right here.

After a few runs, you'll warm up in the cozy café by the slopes. A wonderful way to discover Lapland from a different perspective.

Evening:

In the evening, you can join a wilderness dinner in a traditional kota – a cozy Sámi hut in the heart of nature. In an intimate setting (max. 20 people), you'll enjoy local specialties prepared with fresh, organic ingredients by our chef. A warm and authentic experience that perfectly matches the atmosphere of Lapland.

For this last full day in Lapland, the final optional activities are on the agenda.

Morning:

A free morning offers the perfect chance to completely unwind in Luosto. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast, take a relaxing walk in the area, or just stay cozy at your accommodation to recharge for the rest of your adventure.

Afternoon: Intro to Cross-Country Skiing or Extra Snowmobile Tour

On your last day, you can choose an extra dose of adventure with one of these optional activities:

An extra snowmobile tour – Take a full-day trip through the breathtaking Pyhä-Luosto National Park. You’ll ride as a duo over frozen lakes, hills, and through white forests, with multiple stops along the way and an incredible view from the Lampivaara hill.

Cross-country skiing introduction – Prefer something more relaxed? Then you can join a short introductory session for cross-country skiing. After a brief explanation of the technique, you’ll head out with a guide to try out the trails and get your first taste of this typical Finnish winter sport.

Evening:

The last evening, so take your time to pack your bags, enjoy the sauna one last time, and soak in the coziness of your cabin. A relaxing way to wrap up an unforgettable week in Lapland.

And don’t forget to look up at the sky from time to time.

After about an hour and a half’s drive, you’ll arrive at the airport with a backpack full of memories and a camera full of snowy photos. An unforgettable week in one of the most beautiful places in Europe comes to an end.
