Experience the winter magic of Rovaniemi, the official home of Santa Claus. In addition to the festive atmosphere, this destination offers a paradise of snowy forests, husky rides, and the Northern Lights.
Get out there on a snowmobile, explore the beautiful Ounasvaara hill, or warm up in a traditional Sámi sauna. Whether you’re seeking adventure or relaxation, Rovaniemi is the perfect spot for an unforgettable winter experience!
Although Rovaniemi is known as the capital of Lapland, it offers – thanks to our selection of accommodations and partners – an authentic experience, far away from the hustle and bustle. Some accommodations are nestled right in nature, allowing you to enjoy the peace and magic of the Sámi landscape while still being close to the main activities.
Are you ready for adventure?
We offer you 4 standard activities included in your trip to Lapland: husky safari, snowmobile tour, snowshoe hike & northern lights expedition.

For many, a dream come true. After a ride of about half an hour, we arrive in the territory of these enthusiastic four-legged friends. The dogs are eager to show us what they can do and take us on a 10-kilometer journey through their area.
Before you hop onto your own sled, you'll receive instructions on how to steer the sled, how to brake, and how to handle the dogs. Then, we’ll pair up and choose a team of 5 to 6 dogs that will lead us to the finish line. You'll be in control of your sled. Halfway through, you’ll have the chance to switch places with your passenger. After the ride, we’ll have time to warm up in a Finnish cabin with (of course) a cup of warm berry juice.

Since the Sami (the oldest, independent, recognized people in Lapland) discovered this motorized vehicle, they set their reindeer free and traded their pulling power for solid horsepower. Today, many of them use snowmobiles for their daily commutes and a bit of adventure, but mainly to herd their reindeer.
Once we've been clearly instructed on how to safely operate these machines, we set off in pairs for a 20-30 kilometer ride through the Lapland landscape. Halfway through, we take a break to switch drivers.
Practical Information
* If you do not have a driver's license B, you can experience the ride as a passenger. Children aged 4 and up can sit in a sled attached to the instructor's snowmobile. Children taller than 140 cm may, with the instructor's consent, ride as a passenger with an adult.

To see the Northern Lights as best as possible, your guide will take you to a carefully chosen spot. While we hope for a spectacular display, it remains a natural phenomenon, and there’s no guarantee we’ll actually see it. As we eagerly watch the sky, we’ll make a campfire. Your guide will share fascinating stories about local myths and legends, as well as the scientific explanation behind this extraordinary phenomenon. In the meantime, we’ll enjoy a warm drink, a roasted sausage, or some marshmallows.

*The expedition to see the Northern Lights may change depending on the weather forecasts, but the guide will inform you in advance when it will take place.

Is traveling with children possible?
Children are welcome, but keep in mind there are age restrictions for certain activities. Children under 4 years old cannot participate in some activities, and for others, there is a minimum age of 12 years. This means that sometimes an adult may have to stay behind.
Additionally, it's important to realize that young children may not be able to express if they're too cold. That's why we recommend this trip for children from 6 years old, when they can participate more actively and communicate their needs better.
Is there a discount for children?
For children, we offer the following discounts on the standard package (standard activities, accommodation, and flight):
All extras like clothing, insurance, and optional activities will still be charged for babies, preschoolers, and children.
