Depending on your departure point, whether it's Brussels, Amsterdam, or Düsseldorf, you'll take a direct flight of about 3 hours to Kittilä Airport, right in the heart of Finnish Lapland.

Once at the airport, after collecting your luggage, you will be welcomed by our guides, who you can easily recognize by a sign that says “Lapland Travel” or by their jackets with our logo. They will escort you to the shuttle bus for your transfer.

When the whole group is gathered, you'll head towards Levi. The drive takes about 20 minutes, during which your guide will introduce themselves and answer your initial questions.

Before heading to your accommodation, you'll also visit our local partner to pick up your thermal gear, which is essential for braving the Arctic climate.

After that, you'll be dropped off at your own lodgings. All you need to do then is settle in, relax, and recharge… before you immerse yourself in the magical world of Lapland the next day.

Morning free

After your first night in Lapland, the day starts off leisurely. The morning is free: perfect for exploring the charming center of Levi, popping into a coffee shop, or simply enjoying the winter view from your accommodation.

Afternoon: introduction to snowmobiling (included)

This afternoon, your first activity is scheduled: the snowmobile tour.

Your guide will pick you up from your accommodation and take you to our local partner. There, you'll receive your helmet and a brief overview of the safety rules and essential operations.

You will be paired up on each snowmobile, after which you'll embark on an expedition of about 2 hours through the snowy landscape. Halfway through, you’ll have the chance to switch places between driver and passenger, if you wish.

The activity concludes with a cozy break and a warm berry juice to warm up before you return to your accommodation by the end of the afternoon.

Relaxing evening

In the evening, you can choose to have dinner at a restaurant in the vibrant center of Levi, or simply enjoy a cozy meal in your accommodation.

This is also the perfect time to experience one of the great pleasures of Finnish culture: the sauna. There's nothing better to relax after a day outdoors and gently warm your body back up.

Morning Free

After a night where (hopefully) the Northern Lights made an appearance, you get to enjoy a free morning to relax and recharge. Today's activities start later, so you can catch your breath… before diving into the traditional Sámi world.

Afternoon: Meet the Reindeer

Around noon, your guide will pick you up for a trip to the reindeer farm – an iconic place within the local culture.

There, you'll meet the local guides and your reindeer, each with their own name. Hop into the sled for a peaceful ride of about 1 km through the snowy landscape.

Back at the farm, you'll be welcomed into a heated Kota where you can enjoy warm berry juice. The local guides will share insights about their daily lives, the unique bond with their animals, and the ancient traditions associated with the reindeer farm.

An authentic and warm immersion into Sámi culture.

Evening Under the Northern Lights (included)

As evening falls, your guide will come to pick you up for our aurora experience. Depending on the weather conditions, the departure time may be slightly adjusted.

You’ll drive to a remote location, far away from all light pollution. There, as the sky prepares, a campfire will be lit. Around the fire, with grilled sausages and marshmallows, your guide will share the mysterious legends surrounding this phenomenon and explain how you can observe the Northern Lights during your stay.

And suddenly… there they are! The auroras appear, dancing above your head, wrapping the sky in a green glow. A memory that, hopefully, will be etched in your mind forever… and on your retina.

This morning features an absolute classic of your stay: a snowshoe walk, included in the basic package – so off to the snowy forest!

Depending on the group's pace, you'll cover between 4 and 8 km, passing frozen rivers, tranquil lakes, and panoramic viewpoints.

Along the way, your guide will share the secrets of Lapland's nature with you – from the wildlife to the ancient trees. And of course, this beautiful northern journey will be interrupted by a cozy break with warm berry juice.

Once back at your accommodation, you'll have time to have lunch, rest a bit… or why not enjoy your sauna?

Afternoon: Ice karting

Feeling the need for speed and adrenaline on the ice? This afternoon is all about speed and fun. Ice karting in Levi is a unique experience that combines the thrill of racing with the excitement of driving on ice.

After a brief explanation and getting your gear, you’ll take your seat in a specially modified kart with studded tires. Ready? Set? Go! You’ll race for two sessions of 15 minutes on an ice circuit, featuring sharp turns and a healthy dose of competition. In between, there’s a break with warm berry juice to warm up.

Magical evening and night in a glass igloo 

This evening, you’ll experience an extraordinary moment in the heart of the Lapland forest. You'll spend the night in a glass igloo, about a 15-minute drive from Levi.

From your cozy bed, you can admire the starry sky… and maybe, with a bit of luck, witness the magical dance of the Northern Lights, comfortably and warmly, front row.

The glass cabin features a double bed, a small seating area, and a private bathroom with a shower and toilet. On-site, you'll enjoy an extensive buffet dinner in the restaurant, carefully prepared and full of local flavors. A delicious breakfast buffet will also be waiting for you in the morning.

Morning: Explore Levi on an electric bike

It's time for a unique way to explore the winter landscape: on an electric bike. These special snow bikes with extra wide tires give you grip and stability, even on a thick layer of snow.

Together with your guide, you'll cycle through the enchanting scenery around Levi, navigating through snow-covered forests and alongside frozen marshes. The silence of nature is only broken by the crunching of the tires in the snow – a calming yet active experience.

Halfway through, you'll stop at a clearing or a cozy café, where you can enjoy a small snack and a warm drink. Your guide will share insights about the area and life in Lapland.

Evening: Visit to the ice hotel

At the end of the day, you’ll enjoy a special and magical experience: a visit to the ice hotel.

Entirely carved out of snow and ice, this unique place reveals its rooms, bar, and restaurant – all adorned with beautiful, endless artworks. Your guide will provide the necessary explanation, after which you'll be free to explore this icy masterpiece at your own pace.

A warm drink at the ice bar wraps up the visit.

Today you'll discover two amazing activities that will stay with you for a long time.

Morning: husky safari (included)

Your guide will take you to the location where you'll meet a pack of huskies, ready to take you on a 10 km journey through the forest. You'll receive instructions on steering and braking, and you'll set off two by two on a sled, with the option to switch places halfway through.

At the end of the ride, there’s a cozy moment with the dogs. You'll have time to pet them, take photos, and especially to chat with the musher – their caretaker.

It's the perfect time to ask all your questions and learn more about this fascinating profession and the unique bond between the dogs and their guide.

Free afternoon

This afternoon, you set the pace. Feeling adventurous? The ski slopes of Levi are highly recommended. With over 40 km of well-maintained slopes, Levi is the largest ski area in Finland – perfect for both beginners and experienced skiers. A day pass (€66) gives you access to all lifts and breathtaking views from the top.

Prefer something else? Stroll through the charming center of Levi or take the gondola to the viewpoint on top of the hill: ideal for a photo or just to take a moment to soak in the panorama.

If you want to stay warm, you can visit one of the wellness centers or simply relax in the sauna of your accommodation.

Evening: ice floating

In the evening, you'll experience something extraordinary: ice floating. In a special thermal suit, you'll gently lower yourself into a hole in the ice, right in the middle of a frozen lake near Levi. No worries – you'll stay dry and warm while effortlessly floating in the icy water.

Experience the tranquility of Finnish nature during a traditional ice fishing session – a beloved weekend activity among the locals, also known as pilkki. With a hand auger, rod, and some bait, you'll head to a remote, frozen lake in the area around Levi, far away from the hustle and bustle.

After drilling your own hole in the ice, you settle down on a reindeer skin, rod at the ready. The silence around you is blissful – just the cracking of the ice and the gentle rustle of the wind through the trees.

After about a 20-minute drive, you'll arrive at Kittilä Airport for your return flight, with a backpack full of memories and a phone full of snowy photos.
