At Lapland Travel, you won't find huge resorts where you're stuck all week, but authentic Lappish villages surrounded by vast forests and ski slopes.

Your team-building experience will be made up of a range of unique activities in the forests of Lapland. Choose your activity package from a wide selection and create your perfect team-building trip.
A dream come true for many. Before setting off on your own sled, you’ll learn how to steer and brake, as well as how to handle the dogs. Then, in pairs, you’ll choose a team of five or six dogs to take you to the finish line. You’ll be in charge of your own sled, with the option to swap places with your passenger halfway through. After the ride, we’ll warm up in a Finnish hut with, of course, a cup of hot berry juice.
Once the Sami, the oldest independent and officially recognised people in Lapland, discovered this motorised vehicle, they let their reindeer roam free and traded their pulling power for serious horsepower. Today, many of them use snowmobiles for getting around day to day and for a bit of adventure, but above all to round up their reindeer herds.
After a clear safety briefing on how to handle these machines, we set off in pairs for a 20-kilometre ride through the Lapland landscape. Halfway through, we stop to swap drivers.
To give you the best possible chance of seeing the Northern Lights, your ranger takes you to a perfectly chosen spot. While we wait excitedly for the show to begin, we light a campfire and your guide tells you all about the local myths and legends, as well as the science behind this phenomenon. Naturally, there’ll be a sausage or some marshmallows to enjoy too.
Our very own Lapland Travel guide will take you through beautiful forests, along gently flowing rivers and across frozen lakes, giving you the chance to experience Lapland’s winter wonderland in its purest form.
Your guide will show you as many different landscapes as possible and tell you more about Lapland’s flora and fauna along the way. You can stop during the walk to make a fire and take a moment to enjoy the surroundings before continuing.
The sauna is a traditional wood-fired sauna, just like the Finns use.
A wooden walkway leads from the door to the edge of the lake, where we've cut a hole in the ice so you can cool off in the icy water, just as tradition dictates.
Finnish Lapland is a cross-country skiing paradise. There are 330 kilometres of groomed cross-country ski trails around our lodges. After a short introduction to the basics, your guide will take you along gentle, quiet trails that are perfect for trying out Finland’s national sport!
Enjoy the peace and nature at your own pace as we guide you through the stunning landscapes of the national park. The cycling trails wind through forests blanketed in snow.
You’ll be given a specially designed electric bike with wide tyres, making it easy to cycle through the snow without slipping. Stop for a quick snack at the wilderness café or in an open clearing.

Ice karting is a fantastic, fun-filled experience that combines the thrill of karting with the challenge of driving on ice.
Reindeer have been grazing across Lapland’s vast meadows for centuries. In summer, they roam freely through the forests and across the fields. Once the snow covers all their food with a thick layer, they return to the farm, where they’re fed and cared for.
In winter, except when they fly around the world on December 24, they return to their original job: carrying people through the snow. At the reindeer farm, we learn that a reindeer can carry three times its own weight, has special hooves for digging through the ice to find food, and sheds its antlers in winter. They only need them to impress each other during the summer mating season, after all.
After a 4-kilometre ride, we can reward our reindeer with some food, meet the rest of the herd, and learn all about these wonderful animals over a cup of hot berry juice, what else?
The ultimate weekend activity for Finns! Armed with a fishing rod, bait and an ice auger, you'll learn how to catch your own fish the traditional way, through a hole in the frozen lake.
Ice fishing, or pilkki as we call it, is a popular hobby in Finland. We’ll take snowmobiles to a remote lake, where we can try our luck in peace and quiet. Once we’ve drilled a hole in the ice and got our fishing rods ready, we’ll be all set to land a fish.
A peaceful hike through beautiful scenery. Climb hills and follow riverbeds, all in the perfect setting of Lapland.
Although this activity may look a little funny at first glance, ice floating is actually known for being incredibly relaxing. Wearing a special neoprene suit, you slip into an opening in the frozen lake, surrounded by a thick layer of ice and forest.
Head to Lapland as a team from January to March. Choose between a week-long stay, from Sunday to Sunday, or a shorter stay of 3 to 5 days.
Our team-building trips are designed for groups of 10 to more than 80 people.
We arrange your flight from Amsterdam or Brussels Airport. Most of our flights go directly to Kittilä, so you’ll arrive in the heart of Finnish Lapland in less than 3 hours and 30 minutes. We work with Transavia and Brussels Airlines to arrange your flight.
We offer a range of accommodation options to suit your preferences and budget. We work with large hotels, small family-run hotels and typical large chalets. There’s plenty to choose from!
